[ Super Bowl Gobble: Chili ]

Need a new spin on the chili for Super Bowl party? Try this, Super Bowl Gobble - Turkey Vagabond: .

Easy, Make-ahead, Crowd Friendly, Spice it up.

With the focus away from beef, I swapped it out and added turkey and cajun chicken sausage. Spice it up as much as you like. Serve Vagabond in a bowl, tucked into pita bread, or a sloppy slider.

Step 1: Cut up your veggies: red pepper, green peppers, onions and chop garlic.

Step 2: Sauté in skillet. mushrooms, green pepper, red pepper, onions and garlic in 2 T butter for 3-4 minutes.

Step 3: Brown, cook turkey and sausage. Slice the sausage. Season mixture with salt, pepper and paprika.

Step 4: Combine veggies and meat, add some beans, parsley, tomato paste and sauce.

Step 5: Simmer for 10 -15 minutes. Add some water if mixture is too dry.

Step 6: Cover and refrigerate. Before serving reheat.

½ lb. sliced fresh mushrooms

2 chopped green peppers

1 chopped red pepper

2 chopped white onions

3 minced garlic cloves

4 T butter

2 lb. chopped turkey

1 lb. Andouille Cajun chicken sausage

2 T olive oil

1 can navy beans, drained and rinsed

PaprikaSalt & Pepper

6-ounce can tomato paste

8 ounce jar tomato sauce (I used a 16 ounce)

1/2c minced parsley
