[Initialize, Monogram Your Table]

Some of us are obsessed with monograms on totes, shirts, towels, etc. BTW glassware monograming was a trend in the midcentury. Has this obsession moved to tablescapes in our china and glassware. Two years ago , when I was in Paris I saw these monogram plates. I've been waiting for this re-emergence of this trend.

With thrifting becoming a hobby for many, these monogram glassware are living on the shelves; tumblers, highballs, and juice glasses. I found tumblers or the beverage glass with my initials! I decided it was time to post this and bring the monogram glassware back to life.

Since my tumblers had a silver edge, I decided to do a winter theme tablescape.

Place Setting: Silver plate with antique opalescent hobnail dessert plates and a small covered dish. The covered dish can hold a gift or used to serve a mini taste. The glassware is a mixed grouping - champaign, wine (an antique water goblet) and monogram tumbler.

Centerpiece: Wanted to go big. Going big meant setting the arrangement off to the side. Always want to be able to see your table mate's face.

Pop: Added a silver plate biscuit basket tray. This is great for crackers. I found this at a second hand shop. I have multiple , os if interested email me.

That's a wrap!
