[Sail into July 4th]

Living by the water, what better way to celebrate the 4th of July, then with a red, white and blue boating theme. Whether your boat is a sail or motor boat, kayak, or rubber raft, bring the boat to the table. This was so much fun to pull together. Let's start with the linens! a patriotic stripped table cloth combined with monogrammed "dish towels". I thought these would be so much fun to have one for each of our family. We will use these for years to come! Place Setting: I have collected the sailboat plates, which are very inexpensive china, and used these as the main dish. Of course we have to have "crackers". [Weddings Something Old]

Weddings are a time for family celebrations. They are the start of something new, and memories of old. Surprise your grandparents with a display of family wedding cake toppers. Or collect vintage toppers and incorporate into your tablescape. This is a wonderful way to incorporate old into your wedding theme. Start with my favorite things- peonies, and white peonies. The theme is all white accented with a touch of silver and black. Table linen is a moiré silver dust cloth. For some pop, add ribbons for you table runner.
