[ Dreaming of White Christmas ]
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Bring the outside in this Christmas with white decor. You can make it all glisten with crystal or acrylic accented with gold or silver. I started with a simple white pallet and went with silver.
Centerpiece: The twig Christmas tree twinkles with tiny lights, a top the eucalyptus greens and mini white birch logs. I found a silver filigree orb garland, perfect! Then, as I went thru my tree ornaments, I discovered the glass and silver Christmas balls. (purchased on sale last year) I wanted them on the table, but wanted them to glisten. I used small antique sherbet glasses and added led tea lights. The led lights provide a yellow glow - not thrilled with that.
Place Setting: Classic white plates on a silver charger. My cover dish is MacKenzie Childs Courtly Check. It looked unfinished, and remember my motto "More is better". I moved an ornament to the plate, but it didn't work, for me. I used small gift boxes to adorn the plates. The napkins are silver pinecones from Crate and Barrel.
Pop: The gift boxes make it pop! You can add small gifts to delight your guests; for example - small ornaments, lottery tickets, a tiny cordial "nip" bottle, or fill with dried fruits and nuts.
