[Coral Bunny]

Try something new, but what? No idea is a new idea; it comes from something we have seen.

So, a trip to Home Goods is good place to start.

Voila, a light coral bunny candle. So, coral it is! I also found these fabulous, fleece back throw/towel. Not sure what it is. Still roaming around Home Goods, I found these great carrot shaped plates, the kids will love them. After all, bunnies and carrots! I’m all set to begin.

But it was just what I needed to switch up the Easter colors.

Let’s start with the abstract pattern throw.

Place setting: To play up the table covering, I chose my basic white lettuce pattern Portuguese china. Hmm, now what? I experimented with various salad plates, and added the MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check. Perfect, they pick up the black in the boarder of the table cover. Topped these off with the carrot plates.

To entice the children, a chocolate carrot and bunny as favors. Gold flatware and an orange napkin.

Centerpiece: with the focus on white, this was easy. I gathered all the milk glass candleholders that I had. The hobnail milk glass vase was perfect with orange tulips.

Menu: Poached salmon, asparagus and fava bean salad, breaded carrots, quiche, baked French toast, and baked fruit oatmeal. Since I have the same lettuce china in green, I can use them as serving dishes. They will be delightful filled with the famous breaded carrots.
