Love, Love, Love

With Super Bowl on the horizon, one must still remember that Valentine's Day is nearing. I wanted to keep this year's table simple, but still have the "heart" felt feeling. I went with a sparkling pale pink, and white tablescape. The sparkling touch is achieved by adding crystal and gold accents.

Place Setting: Start with a pressed board gold placemat. The china is a pink contemporary dinner plate which emphasizes the pink in the 1960's pressed dessert plate. Contemporary fuschia mini plate. Added the 1930's etched dessert bowl. My whimsical glass "kiss" sits nicely in the bowl. Add a Love gift pocket. Add the gold flatware and voila!

Centerpiece: Mini vessels to hold your flowers are found everywhere. These minis are Oui yogurt containers. They are glass and perfect for minis!

Tip: Sleuth through the 2nd hand shops to find discarded glassware and china from the early 1900's. For glassware, look for thin, fragile edges, etchings and prism cuts. All the products I display are in my "china cabinet" and many are for sale in the TableGlamour shop.

Happy Valentine's Day!
