[ Blue Pumpkin & Succulents ]

It's time to clean out the summer planters. To extend their blossoms, I bring some of the plants inside. I got very excited after reading the StoneGable blog, that displayed a blue pumpkin with succulents. A great idea to use my succulents inside.

Blue pumpkins naturally have a large depression by the stem. So, there is no need to carve. Place your succulents in the depression with surrounding dirt. For directions check out http://www.stonegableblog.com/succulent-top-pumpkins-3/

We have the centerpiece, now let's get the place setting. The place setting has a teal green border with Greek key design, and paired with vintage water goblets. Both were found at a flea market. Add a straw charger for that fall look. Candle holders are Mackenzie-Childs Country Check, and some vintage Fenton milk glass.

This place setting can take you into Thanksgiving, but I'm preparing for Halloween. So, I add the skeleton tea light on a vintage cordial glass. The cordial glass matches the water goblet. You can find cordial glasses at flea markets. If you haven't figured it out, I gravitate to scultured tea lights. These can be found at Home Goods.
