[ Fall Harvest ]

Peaches, pears, plums, grapes and apples - it’s harvest time, and I love creating the fall tablescape that relishes in these fruits and the colors of fall.

Whether you go with a fruit or leafy theme, there are lots of plates to choose.

Keep it simple and let the plates talk to the season. Here we have a combined the basic white china dinner plate with a bountiful fruit motif dessert dish. Frequently, these are vintage and stamped with Bavaria, Germany or England.

Place Setting: Contemporary gold gilded wooden place mats, make an elegant back drop for this simple setting. This place setting pairs nicely with the bone handled fork and knife. Both pieces of flatware have intricate etched designs.

Centerpiece: An antique Limoges beverage pitcher filled with bright orange roses, added to the fall harvest color, and provides vibrancy to the table.

Pop: Love, love, love my Dane tutti fruity stemware. These hand blown goblets are works for art. When I first discovered them, I just had to have them! So, instead of purchasing a souvenir each time I visited this vacation spot, I purchased one goblet.

Now, let’s serve some homemade apple pie!
